Artemis Strange News
I wanted to post some Artemis Strange illustrations done by Mike Kim. He was working on the project in the beginning. He did some amazing pages and concept work which can be seen on the website. Currently RNA BRAND is handing the illustrations but scheduling is preventing this project from nearing completion.
I went forward and wrote a new Artemis Strange story but in the “short story” form. The new story is titled Graven Confessions. Artemis finds himself in the middle of an unholy war between Priests and the supernatural. I wanted to give the people waiting for this title a taste of the world of Artemis Strange before the first comic is released.
The images shown here are concepts from the opening page of the first Artemis comic titled Innocence of Sin, done by Mike Kim. Look for the new story in a few weeks and more images from RNA Brand in the world of Artemis Strange.
Based on the long running and highly successful Namco video game franchise of the same name, TEKKEN is a high-octane, action packed thriller written for the screen by Alan McElroy (Spawn, The Marine) and to be directed by Dwight Little (Anacondas, Murder at 1600) with fight choreography tentatively by Dion Lam (Spider-Man 2, Doom, Red Cliff).
I put together a new concept poster for Artemis Strange. This series is going to be HOT!! Look for it late next year. 
I wanted to pay homage to my favorite droid in the Star Wars Universe. I decided to write his origin in a short fan fiction story. So far it might become a novel with the length and depth of the story. Here’s an exert to get your appetite wet…“The gungan woman’s agitation grew with the focus being taken off the chess game. She spoke, “Can we finish this Trenla? I know you cheated and if you think I’m going to pay up after this circus, you’re crazy.” Trenla pushed his chair out in a defensive posture in response to the gungan’s words. The gungan woman waved her hand in the air and a short man by the door stepped into the bar followed by 3 overgrown gungans. They were carrying staffs which resembled cattle prods. Trenla turns to watch the gungans approach the table. Renin tries to step in their path. One of the large gungans says something incoherent and shoves Renin across the room. Trenla jumps in his defense tackling the large gungan. The other two attempt to stab Trenla with their staffs but a blaze of red light disrupts their advance. The dark stranger has a red lightsaber held out. Without a word and in the space of a second he cuts both gungans down with multiple slashes from the lightsaber. Everyone in the bar is frozen in terror. The gungan woman reaches for her blaster but she jumps back from the blast to her chest. The blast came from Trenla’s gun. No one saw him react so quickly but the results with the dead gungan woman was shocking to the patrons. Trenla put his blaster back in the holster and walked over to check Renin. He picked up his young cousin who had landed on a table across the room. The dark stranger also walks over to help. Renin stands with the help of his cousin . He tries to speak but all that comes out is mumbles that sounds like huttese. As far as Trenla knew his cousin had never learned the language of the hutts let alone been off world visitng hutts. Renin words started to make sense after a few minutes, “I saw a lightsaber before the room got blurry. Are you a Jedi?” Trenla looks up at the dark stranger with wonder… ”
In my short story Pinhead vs. Freddy I have an extra scene I deleted. The scene didn’t fit with the story flow but it was awesome. After alot of thought I removed it to make the story work. For those UFC fans and just plain anybody wanting a good laugh should read the deleted scene. It’s at the bottom of the story. Don’t miss it!!
